Theme and objective
The primary objective of this workshop is to bring together researchers, academicians and industry practitioners to deliberate on recent advancements, emerging trends and practical applications in the fields of sensors, photonics and semiconductor device technologies, and related areas.

Since 1916, Optica (formerly OSA, The Optical Society) has been the world’s leading champion for optics and photonics, uniting and educating scientists, engineers, educators, technicians and business leaders worldwide to foster technical and professional development.
The OPTICA IIITA Student Chapter brings that network to IIIT Allahabad. Hosted by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, the chapter runs workshops, outreach for school students, and represents IIITA at Optica’s student leadership events.
